The principal designer and founder of Emily Michelle Home. I launched EMH shortly after becoming pregnant at the young age of 19. What started as a furniture refinishing side hustle quickly turned into opening a home goods store and later, design firm. From a young age, I can remember having an opinion on paint colours and driving my parents nuts by rearranging my bedroom every other week. It was inevitable — my love for creating beautiful spaces had always been apart of me. I have always found happiness in thrifting & antiquing — this dates back to my furniture refinishing days! Someone else’s junk is my new treasure! It brings me so much joy incorporating these one-of-a-kind finds into my designs. My goal is to create a home that feels lived-in and is a safe place where you can create the most magical memories — in style.
