Acacia Wood Esperanto Bowl
Named after the artificial language devised in the late 19th Century as an international medium of communication, our Esperanto Bowl is quite real, and meant to bring friends old and new close together around the season’s bounty. A striking foot-and-a-half wide and perched up high on a footed base, this impressive piece is carefully crafted of Acacia wood by artisans in North India. No two are alike, and subtle cracks and nuances in the grain are not considered imperfections but intrinsic to the production. Gather round.

Wash with soapy water and towel dry. Do not submerge in water. Avoid the dishwasher, as the
intense heat can dry out your piece. Once a month or so, apply a little mineral oil using a soft cloth.
Do not use cooking oils such as olive or vegetable oil. If your piece starts to feel rough or feathery,
use a fine-grit sandpaper to smooth it. You can also sand out any stains or burn marks.
